# Combos

> Combining two to ten legs into one position, how the price is built, and how a combo settles.

A combo combines between 2 and 10 selections into one position. Every leg must win for the combo to win.

## How the price is built

The combo price is the product of the leg prices. In cents, two legs at 50c each make a combo at 25c. In decimal odds, that is two legs at 2.00 making 4.00. A combo pays more than any single leg and wins less often, because every leg has to win.

Legs are priced together when you build the combo. If a price on one leg moves before you place, refresh the order ticket.

## Building one

1. Tap a price to open an order ticket.
2. Select **Combo** on the ticket to switch it to combo mode.
3. Add selections from other events, up to ten legs. The ticket shows the combined price.
4. Set your amount and place.

Each leg must come from a different event, because outcomes in the same event are related. A combo takes Buy selections only, and some markets cannot be added. The order ticket marks those as Unavailable for Combo.

## Settlement

A combo settles when its last leg settles. If any leg loses, the combo loses.

## On the API

The API calls a combo a `parlay`. See [Sports and bet types](/developers/sports-and-bet-types).
