Deposits

Accounts hold USDT. You fund one by sending USDT to a deposit address that belongs to your account. The deposit screen also lists other deposit options for other cryptocurrencies. Send only USDT to your deposit address.

Getting an address

Open the deposit screen and choose a network. The screen shows your address for that network. The address is yours and you can reuse it.

Choosing a network

USDT exists on several blockchains. The deposit screen lists the ones open for deposits right now. Networks can be turned off independently for deposits and for withdrawals, so a network you withdrew on last month may not be accepting deposits today. Read the screen each time.

Tags and memos

Some networks require a tag or memo alongside the address. Where one is needed, the deposit screen shows it. A transfer that omits it may not credit automatically and will need support to trace.

Minimums

Each currency and network has a minimum deposit, shown on the deposit screen. Sending less than the minimum may not credit. The figures are set per network and change, so read them from the screen rather than remembering them.

Confirmation

MagicMarkets credits a deposit once the network confirms it. The time depends on the network and how busy it is.

Deposit limits

Without identity verification, you can trade with up to 10,000 USDT of lifetime deposits. Any amount above that is held until you verify or withdraw it. The deposit screen shows how much of the limit remains. See Identity verification. You can also ask support to set a limit of your own. See Responsible trading.

Other cryptocurrencies

Balances are held in USDT. To deposit another cryptocurrency, use one of the other deposit options on the deposit screen. Do not send it to your USDT address. Another asset, such as USDC or ETH, sent to that address is not recognised.
