MagicMarkets has one exchange, one account and one balance, and two layouts for it: normal mode, shown as Standard in settings, and MagicMarkets Pro, a live trading terminal for the same markets. Both run in the web app at magicmarkets.com.

Compared with normal mode

Normal mode is the default layout. It shows each event with its outcomes and the best available price on each, in cents. Tapping a price opens an order ticket that defaults to taking the market price, with a toggle to set your own limit. Your position on an outcome shows as a badge. Where available, cashout is offered inline. Normal mode is built for someone who wants to see a price, form a view and act, without more numbers on screen than they need. MagicMarkets Pro puts more on one page: several sports and markets together, a row per outcome with buy and sell prices side by side, the limit order ticket by default, and more than one order ticket at once on desktop. The sections below explain each part.

What does not change between them

  • The prices. Both layouts show the same book.
  • The commission. Zero either way.
  • Your account, balance, limits and verification state.
  • Settlement.

Turning it on

Choose Pro under Layout in settings. To switch back, choose Standard. There is no deposit minimum, volume requirement or application. It is off by default because it shows more detail than most people need. Your positions do not change when you switch.

Build a space

Choose Create to start a space, then add the sports, competitions and events you follow. Every price they carry streams onto one page. You can build spaces before you sign up, and they stay with you when you create an account.

Read it live

Live prices stream into the grid, buy and sell side by side, one row per outcome. Your position on an outcome shows in line rather than as a badge. Handicap lines and sub-sports expand in place instead of navigating away.

Trade from the grid

Tap a price, set your amount, and place. The order ticket opens on the same page and defaults to a limit order, with an expiration and the order book for that outcome. You can toggle on a price chart for the outcome. On desktop, take a second price in the same market and it stacks a new order ticket without closing the first. You can work a position across several price levels and send them together with Place all. A price in a different market closes the previous order ticket.

Track your book

Orders and positions surface as they fill, on the same grid. Complex positions across many outcomes render as a grid rather than a list.

Price formats

Prices show in cents by default. You can pick another format, such as decimal odds, in settings. The setting applies in normal mode too.

Desktop and mobile

MagicMarkets Pro runs in the web app, on desktop and mobile browsers. The grid is at its best on a wide screen. On a phone you hold one order ticket at a time.

Which one to use

If you trade a few markets you know well, normal mode keeps the screen simple. If you follow many markets at once and want the order book and limit orders by default, turn on MagicMarkets Pro. To trade from your own tools, use the API. The MagicMarkets CLI is the quickest way to start.
