Before you sign up

You can browse every market, every price and every event without an account. Create one when you want to place an order.

What you need

  • A Google account, or an email address you can receive mail at.
  • A nickname, shown instead of your email.
  • Your date of birth. You must be 18 or over, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher.
If somebody referred you, sign up through their link. Attribution cannot be added later.

Steps

Open magicmarkets.com and choose Sign Up

Sign Up is in the top right, on desktop and on mobile.

Choose Google or email

Choose Continue with Google, or enter your email address and choose Continue. With email, MagicMarkets sends you a one-time code to enter. Complete the captcha if the screen shows one.

Add your details

Choose a nickname and enter your date of birth.

Deposit

Fund your account to start trading. The Finish setting up bar on the home page shows the three steps: Sign Up, Details, Deposit.

Signing in

To sign in later, choose Log In and use the same method: Continue with Google, or your email address and the one-time code MagicMarkets emails to you. Add two-step verification once you are in. See Security.

Where you cannot trade

Some territories are blocked from registering. Company and licence lists them, and the list can change. If your territory is blocked, you can still browse the site, but you cannot open an account or trade. The signup flow tells you if your location is restricted.
